Crimson & Black Pasapalli Pure Mulberry Silk Saree

Woven by master weavers of the Meher community in Bargarh, this saree is an exemplary showcase of Odisha's double-ikat Bandha tradition. The body features the historic 'Pasapalli' motif, inspired by the ancient royal chessboard game of the Mahabharata. Each warp and weft silk yarn is individually resist-dyed with pinpoint precision before being mounted onto traditional pit looms. The aanchal (pallu) is adorned with auspicious Shankha (conch), Chakra (divine wheel), and temple spire Kumbha motifs.
